Examinations & cleanings
We recommend you see us twice a year for a checkup and cleaning. These visits allow us to perform an oral cancer screening, check past dental work and identify any new areas of concern, before you begin to feel any discomfort. We can also develop a plan for future treatment. We’ll take diagnostic x-rays and look for signs of oral health issues. We’ll also perform a gentle and thorough teeth cleaning, removing plaque and tartar in those hard-to-reach areas. Finally, we’ll develop a treatment plan for any work that may need to be done.

Mini dental implants
Mini dental implants have the same structure as regular implants, but are smaller in size. They can be used to replace one or all of your missing teeth. Additionally, mini dental implants can stabilize loose fitting dentures. These mini implants have two parts as described by the Mini Dental Implant Centers of America (MDICA): a titanium post with a ball on the end, and a socket with a rubber O-ring that attaches the tooth to the post.
Receiving regular implants requires numerous visits, invasive surgery, often additional surgeries for bone-grafting or sinus lifts and several months of healing time. Still, many patients aren't able to or don’t want to undergo invasive surgery and repeated dental appointments, or have lost too much bone to receive a full-sized implant. Dentists can often install mini implants in only one visit using local anesthesia and without making an incision in your gums. Call Dr Gray to determine if you are a candidate! Read more
Invisalign are clear trays or aligners used to correct the alignment of teeth, bite-related problems, and aesthetics. The clear aligners allow you to improve your smile without having to see brackets and wires, which often deters patients from orthodontic treatment. Read more

Root canals treat diseases or abscessed teeth. Once a tooth is injured, cracked or decayed, it is necessary to open the tooth and clean out the infected tissue in the center. This space is then filled and the opening sealed. Keeping your tooth helps to prevent your other teeth from drifting out of line and causing jaw problems. Saving a natural tooth avoids having to replace it with an artificial tooth. Read more
Dental Veneers are strong, thin pieces of porcelain that are bonded to the teeth. They are used to repair chipped, decayed or stained teeth and may help in closing gaps between teeth. With a bit of contouring, veneers may also correct slightly crowded or overlapping teeth. Read more
A dental crown is a cover that fits over a tooth that has been damaged by decay or broken. It can be made of metal, porcelain, or porcelain bonded to metal. All-porcelain crowns look more like your natural teeth, and therefore are usually used for front teeth, while porcelain bonded to metal is stronger and better for crowns in the back of the mouth.
